Clark Hill has strengthened its technology system through a new agreement with Thomson Reuters. Under the deal, all of the firm’s attorneys will get access to advanced legal software tools. Under the partnership, Thomson Reuters’ Next Gen CoCounsel, Westlaw Advantage, and Practical Law are accessible to the entire firm. These tools support legal research, document drafting, summarisation, document review, analysis and other legal workflows.
Clark Hill said the expansion follows more than two years of planning, pilot programmes, governance development and employee training. The firm has focused not only on adopting new technology but also on creating clear policies for responsible AI use and preparing its legal teams to use the tools effectively.
The company stated that its AI strategy includes a wider portfolio of approved technologies. Along with Thomson Reuters’ legal platforms, the firm also uses Microsoft Copilot for attorneys, business professionals and administrative teams after completing security, ethical and operational reviews.
