For the year ending 31 March 2025, profit went up 13% to £59.4 million, and turnover grew 14.8% to almost £167 million. This is the fifth year in a row the firm’s turnover has risen by more than 10%, showing steady progress in a tough market.

As a result of this success, the firm has set aside a £4.3 million bonus pool for staff. The bonus scheme includes a salary-linked payment for all employees, excluding partners, along with a discretionary element tied to individual performance. Freeths emphasized that the initiative reflects its commitment to rewarding the contributions of its people.

During the past year, the firm also expanded its footprint. Freeths relocated to larger offices in both Bristol and Liverpool and completed a refurbishment of its London office. With these changes, the firm now has 13 offices across the UK and over 1,300 employees.

Managing partner Karl Jansen said the new offices are built to support hybrid working and improve client service. He also stressed the firm’s commitment to equality, adding that closing gender and ethnicity pay gaps is an important goal for its leadership.

Earlier this year, Freeths promoted 80 employees, including nine new partners. This demonstrates how this company encourages career development and its importance to employees.
