Global law firm Clyde and Co has promoted four lawyers to legal director across its Scotland practice, including a posthumous promotion for Sarah Donaldson, who died suddenly and unexpectedly in February
Donaldson was a respected specialist in catastrophic injury and large loss work, known across the firm for her professional expertise and support for both colleagues and clients. Her promotion stands as a formal recognition of her contribution to the Scotland practice.
The three other promotions span different practice areas across Glasgow and Edinburgh. Kelly Brotherhood moves up within the casualty team in Glasgow, where she leads counter fraud work for Scotland and handles complex fraud and large loss claims for insurer clients.
Chris Dunn, based in Edinburgh, is an accredited specialist in professional conduct regulation who advises healthcare professionals before their regulators and handles clinical negligence litigation across the Scottish courts.
His work also includes involvement in public inquiries and complex claims. Kirstie Carrick, promoted within the Glasgow team, is an accredited employment law specialist who advises employers on disciplinary matters, discrimination cases, restructures, and high-value tribunal litigation.
