Key Background:
PwC Tax & Legal has announced the appointment of Emilio Gómez Delgado as Partner. He will lead real estate transactions in the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice, led by Jacobo Lavilla. This move strengthens PwC’s real estate focus and adds an experienced professional from the Spanish market.
Gómez has more than 25 years of experience advising funds, developers, and hotel chains on investments, development, and property management. He is skilled in handling complex real estate deals and has helped create and list SOCIMIs and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) on different stock exchanges.
Before joining PwC, Gómez worked for 20 years at Hogan Lovells, where he became Head of Real Estate in the Madrid office. He is recognized internationally in the legal directory Chambers & Partners for his excellence in the Real Estate category.
Gómez has degrees in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). In addition to his professional work, he teaches Real Estate Law in the Master of Legal Advice and the Master in Strategy and Real Estate Business programs at the University of Navarra. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the university’s Law Faculty.
The appointment reflects PwC’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its real estate capabilities. Earlier this year, PwC also welcomed Javier Kindelán, former Vice Chairman of CBRE, as a Partner in its Transactions division, showing the firm’s focus on growing its real estate advisory services.
Gomez stated that I am glad to serve the real estate strategy of PwC and assist clients in a complex international transaction.
Having him on board, PwC Tax & Legal will be able to provide more solid advice regarding real estate investments and deals, increasing its reputation as one of the most successful advisory firms in Spain and the rest of Europe.
